A visa to collect a residence permit – D/VR
The visa is issued with a validity of 6 months and it entitles the foreigner to a residence for a maximum stay of 60 days(Single Entry). After travelling to the Czech Republic, it is necessary to report to the MOI within 3 working days for the subsequent acts.

Required Documents to obtain Employee Card & visa (D/VR)
- Visa application form to be filled out and signed by the applicant
- Valid Passport
- Proof of accommodation
- 2 colour photos (35x45 mm) with white background.
- In a contract of employment, an agreement on work activity, the agreed monthly salary will not be lower than the basic monthly minimum wage and weekly working hours will be at least 15 hours,
- Medical report
- Bank Statement
- Criminal record extracts (PCC)along with their applications, i.e. criminal record extracts issued by a state of which they are a citizen and in which they have resided in the past three years uninterruptedly for a period longer than six months
- Travel Medical Insurance – only if visa approved, not when applying
- Visa fees Employee card 5 000 CZK
Important Note
- Supporting documents may not be older than 180 days except a passport, photo (if reflecting current appearance), and documents on competence.
- Supporting documents must be submitted in Czech. Documents in another language must also be submitted in official translation into Czech
- Foreign public documents must be legalized, i.e. equipped by an apostille or super-legalized.
- The applicant must always submit the original documents, including the passport and supporting documents for the purpose of stay (such as the employment contract, work agreement, letter of intent, and employment permit, if applicable). If the applicant wishes to keep them, they can retrieve these original documents after submission. The passport is always returned to the applicant and must be submitted again when the visa is issued.
HOW DO APPLY FOR a Czech Republic WORK PERMIT APPLY ONLINE?
After we received the required documents above, the Employer reviewed the documents and if needed an interview will be made via Skype video. Once we receive the payment, we will submit the documents to the appointed Attorney. The process of obtaining a Work Contract is between 2/3 weeks. After the Work Contract is issued, we will send it to you by Courier. You shall apply for an Employee card. Upon approval, you need to obtain an entry visa type D/VR to collect a residence permit at the Czech Republic Embassy in your country.
