How to Apply Moldova eVisa

E Visa Moldova is issued by the General Consular Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with other relevant authorities. The only facilitation granted by e-Visa Moldova consists of the online application, without the personal presence of the applicant at the Embassy / Consulate of the Republic of Moldova. Foreigners who come from states that require a Moldova invitation issued by the Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova are not exempt from presenting this document when applying for the e-Visa.

What is an e-Visa and how can I apply?

An e-visa is an authorization to enter Moldova issued in PDF format. It grants the same right to enter Moldovan territory as an ordinary sticker visa in the passport.

Types of e-Visa that could be obtained online?

Only short-stay visa type C can be obtained online. Applicants for type A, B, and D visas should contact one of the Republic of Moldova’s diplomatic missions or consular offices abroad.

e-Visa can be requested for the following purposes ?

All foreigners can request an e-Visa if their purpose for visiting Moldova is:

How much is the e-Visa fee?

The e-visa cost is 60 Eur(consular fee – 60 Euro and processing fee – 0 Euro).

The term of examination of an e-Visa request

The examination period for the electronic visa application is up to 10 calendar days from the date of application; the term may be extended if necessary up to 20 days.

How do I know the result of the e-Visa request?

At the legally designated time, the applicant will be notified via e-mail about the outcome of the review application. In case of approval, the applicant will receive an e-Visa in PDF format.

Necessary documents foreigners should present at the border crossing point

– a printed eVisa;

– a travel document (passport);

– a copy of the invitation, as well as other supporting documents according to the purpose of the visit;

– medical health insurance for the period of stay in the Republic of Moldova.
