National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine is one of the leading universities of our country and is well-known through the world. Sumy National Agrarian University is a higher educational establishment with IV level of accreditation; it is one of the best agrarian universities of Ukraine. Sumy National Agrarian University was founded in 1977, for 40 years of its existence, it has gone from Sumy branch of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute named after V.V. Dokuchaev to powerful educational establishment of national importance. Sumy National Agrarian University trains highly qualified specialists for agriculture with profound learning of foreign languages and computer science. The structure of University includes 8 faculties, one Institute and five colleges.

Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is a research university with a classic tradition and is the leading establishment of higher education in Ukraine. Founded in 1834, Kyiv University may boast of generation after generation of academics, lecturers and students who have made invaluable contributions to science, education, culture and society, to improve the lives of the people of our country. Over many decades, each generation of graduates has added to the greatness and glory of their alma mater. Each passing year has seen university strengthen its leading position in science, education and the culture of both Ukraine and the whole world. Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is today a classic university with a distinct research profile, and the leading contemporary academic and educational hub of Ukraine. The high status of a classical research University is underpinned by the numerous academic achievements of its staff. The academic potential of Kyiv University is today demonstrated by more than 60 full members and corresponding members of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, 626 members of staff with Doctor’s degrees and 1,645 staff with higher postgraduate degrees.More than 26 thousand students study at the University. Approximately 1,645 postgraduate students and 125 PhD students. The University awards Junior Specialist’s, Bachelor’s, Specialist’s and Master’s degrees, Higher Qualification Post-graduate degrees and Doctoral degrees. Today the University has bilateral partnership agreements with 227 foreign educational and scientific institutions from 57 countries. The University of Kyiv has become more proactive in the foreign citizens recruitment process. At present, the number of foreign students enrolled at the University is 935. The Russian and English training programs set up to enable the number of international students increase.

The Private Higher Educational Establishment “Kyiv Medical University” was found in 1992 and from that time remains the biggest private medical universities in Ukraine. For the moment there approximately 2,000 students with 15% of them international from more than 56 countries. There three major faculties includes General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, as well as the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens with Ukrainian and Russian medium. Postgraduate education is also available in the form of clinical internships for Ukrainians and residency for foreign specialists. The number of credit equals to those in the European Union countries. Founded in 1841,in Kyiv, Bogomolets National Medical University (NMU) is a leading medical educational institution in Ukraine. Bogomolets National Medical University provides training of specialists for practical healthcare at all educational levels. Nowadays, over 14,000 students study at the University. There are over 1500 international students from 67 countries. The university employs about 1200 teaching staff. The international students are instructed in English since 2004. The university includes 10 faculties, 87 chairs and 2 scientific and research institutions.

National Aviation University (NAU).The origin of the university dates back to aviation courses organized by Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the late XIX century. For almost 80 years of its history more than 200,000 highly skilled professionals has been trained in this higher aviation educational institution. Today, NAU is one of the world’s most powerful aviation higher educational institutions with more than 50,000 students including 1,200 international students from 49 countries.
