The B-1/B-2 travel visa is a type of visa that lets people visit the US for a little while. It’s for things like business or tourism. You can’t work or study while you’re in the US with this visa. Certain countries’ citizens need B-1/B-2 visas to enter the U.S. Canadian citizens don’t need a travel visa for tourism or business in the U.S. Some countries’ citizens can travel to the U.S. without a visa through the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) if they have Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval. Check if your country is part of the VWP program on the State Department website, and if so, obtain ESTA approval on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website before traveling to the U.S.
